Oh yeah

I watched my first movie via "Watch Now" on Netflix last night. It is only available to select users right now, I think it goes full launch in June. It allows you to watch full movies streaming online at no additional cost. You get 1 hour of viewing for every dollar of your current subscription fees. So being a 2 at a time unlimited user I get 14.99 hours a month which is more than plenty. It's pretty neat, it's one thing that makes me wish I had a dedicated media center PC, but plugging my laptop up to the TV isn't too much of a hassle. I just hope they broaden the selection, right now it's pretty mediocre, we watched Clue, if that gives you any, um, idea! But there are plenty of exercise videos to watch, weird. Maybe it just depends on which movies they can get the rights to stream. Anyway, back on the upside, I was really impressed with the quality, it only did that buffer pause thing a few times and for a fraction of a second. Though a bit of the image was cut off on every side, I can only assume that's because of the resolution of my TV vs. that of the laptop, maybe? I think this is a really good idea, because there are so many times, I wish I had a movie to watch while I'm in the middle of the send-receive process.
