I heard that the local air force base is trying to get a paper signed from our city allowing them to test a new, loud, aircraft in the area. The paper is also removing them from liability should windows be broken or property damaged. I think that's horrible. Why should I have to pay for broken windows that they know is their fault? Enough of my money goes to the government already, I'm not going to pay them to destroy my property. I can only hope this is refused.
I received my Sambo's coffee cup in the mail today.
Unfortunately I don't think it's just like the one that was broken. If the person who had broken it didn't dispose of the evidence I could check, but I think the script on the bottom was different, this one just says USA, while I think the other may have said Corning&Co or ceramic or something, I could be wrong, it's happened once before.
