There were so many things this week that I though 'I'm going to have to blog about this,' and now that I'm sitting down and actually doing it I'm not going to remember half of them.
I put the new power supply in the computer Wednesday, it took a full week to get it. It's quieter than the old one, but it still seems like the fan is on more than it should be, I don't know what to do about that.
I believe President Bush's decision to hold mail on Jan. 2 in honor of Gerald Ford, is the absolute dumbest decision he has made since being in office. I understand honoring a former president, but to hold the mail after it already had not ran for 2 days is ridiculous. He could have held it on the day of the funeral, that would have made much better sense.
School started back Thursday. I have five classes this semester, I'm nervous and excited. One of my classes is Survey of Film, where basically we watch movies and talk about them and then write up a comparison between two I guess. Thursday we watched Citizen Kane, which I've always heard so much about and there's so many references to it in other things, but I had never seen it, it was great. Next week is Sin City, which I have seen.
I'm also on the school paper this semester, which is probably what I'm most nervous about.
The first impression of all my classes was good though, except maybe statistics. It seemed very elementary, hopefully that's just because it was the first day. I've always been very good in math, so I need something that challenges me, or at least holds my interest.
Today I bought some fabric to make a sleeve for my laptop similar to this one, which would cost around $100 if I wanted to order it. That way I won't have to worry about messing up my laptop by just throwing it in my messenger bag with everything else.
There's more to say, but this is long enough, I'll save it for next time.
