Yesterday

Yesterday I went with Amy to get her first tattoo, it was an interesting experience. What she got was a pretty big oleander off-center on her lower back. It took about two and a half hours, and it's really pretty, pink and green. She was in a lot of pain, only cried once though, she made some interesting faces and noises though. I told her I would get my first when she got her second, haha.

Also yesterday, it seems as though my class session was canceled. I was a little late (8min) and when I got there the door was locked and no one was there. This has never happened before. I know the teacher's mom has been in the hospital, but she's had a substitute every time she's been unable to be there before. We were also supposed to have a quiz and tell her our topic for our paper. Well, I just hope everything is okay.

I've been looking into universities to complete my schooling at once I'm done with my A.S. I found that there are pretty much no good journalism schools in Florida. Really only two choices in the state, Miami and UoF, and I don't want to go to either. I wouldn't mind Miami so much if it wasn't in Miami. So, I was going through this online list of good journalism schools, to see what their programs where like and mainly where they were located. Last night I clicked on the link for Ball State University; right away I was impressed with the site itself. And it looks like they have a very comprehensive journalism department, more so than most of the others I looked at. Then, upon checking its location I see that it is in Muncie, Indiana. Now you're thinking "okay, what of it? big deal," well it just so happens that I have family in that very city. I requested information from the school and hope to get it soon. As of now, Ball State is my number one prospect, though I still have a lot of time to decide. So, when my cousin comes down this Thanksgiving I'm going to talk to her about it, I think they would probably let me live with them while I go to school there too.

Oh yeah, new look on the site too. It's not really what I wanted, but I did it real quick and I think it suits me.
